The Body Engineered Approach To Treatment


Goal:

Our therapeutic goal is to improve our clients’ physical condition. We release and balance the myofascial system and correct postural and movement compensations within the body.
Body Engineered uses a combination of Fascial Stretch Therapy and Soft Tissue Release Techniques to release the fascial web. This combined with stabilization and proprioception exercises help to re- train the neuromuscular system. Functional movement exercises and education maybe incorporated ensuring efficient, effective and safe movement patterns thus enabling the client to achieve their therapeutic or performance goals.


Reactive Care

Emphasis is placed on a thorough assessment.
Who are you?

What happened?
Why did this happen?
When did this happen?
How did this happen?
Attention is now spent on resolving inflammation, irritation, and pain. Restoring joint dysfunctions and muscle dysfunctions.
Reactive care is specific to patients with current injuries that need to be evaluated and treated.


Active care

You are currently uninjured, but you are experiencing general aches and pains or feel restrictions or compensations. You are an athlete experiencing decreases in performance or you are having or interested in being evaluated for the specific risk factors that make you susceptible to overuse injuries an Initial Exam, Functional Assessment can be performed to discuss what you can do to prevent future injuries.


Proactive Care

Focus is on maintaining the pre-injury condition which was achieved in Re-active and Active Care.
Body Engineered uses a combination of Fascial Stretch Therapy™, Active Isolated Stretch and Soft Tissue Release to restore joint motion and muscle function as well as enhance the performance of the body.
